A native of New Jersey, Dr. Mercadante was the valedictorian of her high school class and went on to complete an accelerated combined college/ medical school program between Boston University and UMDNJ, New Jersey Medical School. She completed her residency training at the University of Pennsylvania. She has 15 years training and experience and through her practice in general medicine, Dr. Mercadante has continued her education and research and has developed a focus of interest in treatment of obesity. She has also completed a preceptorship in cosmetic laser skin treatment.

Dr. Mercadante embarked upon a career of more than just healing sick patients. She strives for total body health and mental acuity for her patients. More than 15 years after graduating from UMDNJ and completing her residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Mercadante has continued her commitment to patient care by offering preventive physicals, sick patient care, counseling on well being, guidance with weight loss, and helping people feel better in their skin through our laser services.

As one of the few independent physicians left after the consolidation of the healthcare industry, Dr. Mercadante provides each patient with the time and energy they deserve. Her patients receive individualized and specific care to meet their needs.
